My blog posts have been moving at a snails paste. I realized the reason is because writing the blogs in markdown and committing them is a bit of a slog compared to a typical content management system (CMS). The flip side is CMS systems can be a bit heavy handed to deploy and manage.
I recently used Gitbook for a project and I loved the experience. I was able to quickly iterate and produce content useful for the project. So I decided to take a pass at using decap. I’ve known about this tool for forever back when it was called Netlify CMS.
I’m now in a season of trying to enhance my productivity so anything that seems to slow me down im re-assessing to determine if its a better workflow.
